The Ostrov Cross monument is a monumental sculpture designed to bring back awareness to the abandoned forests of the village of Ostrov (Czech Republic). I thought of a sculpture that would spark curiosity.
    A lifesized metal persepctive cross that looks unidentifiable from most angles, yet after exploring can be recognized as a cross. The cross stands for the wings of the mills since Ostrov used to be a mill town pre abandonement.             Curiosity, perspective and exploring are the leading themes in this project.
